INTRO TO DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY with Maria Garces

This course is geared to those interested in Photography with little or no experience in the use of SLR cameras. If you love to work with images and want to better your photography, this course is for you!

Course Includes:

3 week program, emphasizing esthetics and the development of a personal portfolio. Weekly, two one hour and a half long classes.
Taught by a professional working photographer.

- You will learn about the fundamentals of composition and how to take pictures in different light conditions and speed conditions (from action o portrait)

- Each class includes practical exercises and edition of he pictures taken (evaluating and selecting the best pictures).

- Two field trips are planned as part of the program to exciting locations for picture taking.

Requirements:

Digital SLR camera (with manual mode option available) and a USB pen drive per student. If you have access to a different camera, please call us so we can evaluate if you can do the course with it.

Dates and times

June 14th 2012 to July 2nd 2012. Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.

Field trips: Saturday June 23rd and 30th
